Campbell Technology Corporation recently completed the first Railroad Quiet Zone Project in the State of Ohio. The project was a Design-Build Project in the City of Springfield, OH. The project consisted of the design and installation of wayside horn systems at twelve (12) locations and vehicle detection systems at four (4) locations to be equipped with four-quadrant gates. Moffatt & Nichol assisted CTC with project management and roadway design. A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated this project’s completion on July 24, 2009.

The consulting team of HNTB, Inc.  and Campbell Technology Corporation has been selected by the City of Fort Worth to provide professional engineering services for the planning, design, and project management of improvements on several railroad crossing projects.  The improvements are budgeted at over $4 million and are expected to be completed over the next several years.
